DWSE Introductory Remarks by Rita
Each of the three presenters provided an overview of her educational background, how she steered into her chosen career, and shared her experiences as a deaf woman in a male-dominated field. In addition, they shared their strategy on how they plan to encourage and stimulate young deaf women to consider non-traditional but rewarding careers in the science and engineering.
